1. What is Torch Fund Tuesday?
Torch Fund Tuesday is Chaminade's Annual participation in Giving Tuesday, a global day of giving, with the goal to bring the entire Chaminade family together to raise critical dollars for the Torch Fund. Unrestricted Torch Fund donations go to the area of greatest need, and keep Chaminade a place where young Catholic men can thrive.
The Torch Fund is Chaminade's Annual Fund, and the foundation of our fundraising efforts. Chaminade depends on the Torch Fund each year to help close the gap between tuition revenues and operating expenses. Many Catholic schools and universities have this gap. Throughout each year, our parents, alumni, faculty, and staff receive Torch Fund appeals. Many of the gifts to the Torch Fund are unrestricted and are used to meet current needs and have supported nearly 14,000 young men who have attended Chaminade, providing over $46 million in tuition support.

8. Is my Torch Fund Tuesday donation tax-deductible?
